What else could it be but the NSA-MN 2018 Gala, the "Speaker’s Prom," the New Year’s Eve of our Chapter year!

Our emcee, Mark LeBlanc, CSP (Class of 2018!) promises to keep the evening moving as we:

Honor recipients of our annual awards: The main reason for the evening
Enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a delicious buffet dinner, and conversation with friends
Recognize our outgoing Board members and those who will lead us next year
Hear short messages from President Cole Carley and President-Elect Annie Meehan
Delight in a musical revue with singer/songwriter/storyteller Megon McDonough, who presents her signature offering, Amazing Things.

By age 17, Megon was opening for such folk acts as John Denver, Steve Martin and Harry Chapin. She has performed on stages as diverse as Carnegie Hall and the Cellar Door. Megon may be best known for her work as an inaugural member of the folk group The Four Bitchin’ Babes, which allows her wit and folk sensibilities to comment on the ups and downs of everyday life. She is frequently seen in top Performing Arts venues doing her tribute to the great woman singers of the last 5 decades; Dedicated To The Ones I Love ~ Great Women Singers Of The 50s 60s and 70s.

Attire is formal or cocktail wear. Black tie optional.

This is a complimentary event for NSA-Minnesota members and Speaker Academy members as part of their dues. Guests and NSA national members (who are not members of the local chapter) are invited. Tickets are $75.
